The license is another achievement along our path to becoming the most well-regulated exchange in Europe
We’re excited to announce that zondacrypto has received a license to provide virtual currency exchange services and virtual currency wallet services in Slovakia! The license is issued by the official government regulatory body and overseen by the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).
While the Slovakian government doesn’t require crypto asset providers to operate with an official license, the country does operate strict anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules that are controlled by the Slovak Financial Intelligence Agency. The agency has developed strict controls on cryptocurrency transactions which help to maintain consumer safety and confidence in the local crypto industry.
Following a successful rebranding over the past week, we are now more prepared than ever to continue on our journey to become the leading crypto trading platform in Europe. We look forward to delivering new and improved products and services for our users, the most exciting of which is the upcoming zondacrypto token (ZND), set for launch later this season!
