The SEC Dropped All Charges Against Ripple Founders
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) dropped charges against Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Executive Chairman, Chris Larsen, after a nearly three-year long court case. The Ripple executives were accused of violating securities laws and conducting unregulated XRP transactions, specifically that Ripple’s sale of XRP was an unregistered securities offering. The SEC has also renounced the right to file the same charges against Ripple executives ever again. This is huge news for XRP investors because it lifts a high degree of uncertainty that surrounded XRP during the last few years and could potentially have a quite positive impact on the project’s performance.
Bitcoin Price Has Gone Crazy in October
Everyone in the crypto industry is closely monitoring the Bitcoin price as a key indicator of the market’s overall direction, and the BTC price has just gone crazy in October. BTC started the month at 27,000 USD and went on a rollercoaster of ups and downs to nearly 35,000 USD. Is the bull market here?
