What is the source of these tokens?
In September 2024, after completing our four successful public rounds, each of which sold out in less than 20 minutes, raising a total of around €2 million, we began to prepare for the next phase of our roadmap – a launch round on third-party platforms.
In this process, 5 600 000 ZND tokens were allocated for the launchpad round. The following tokenomics has been planned:
20% release during the Token Generation Event (TGE) for investors,
1-month cliff (period when funds are locked),
7-month vesting schedule to encourage adoption by external investors.
The huge success of the public rounds showed us something remarkable: our community was deeply engaged and excited about the ZND token. Many of our users were eager to acquire ZND but faced barriers such as missing out on public rounds or difficulties in accessing decentralised platforms.
Why burn the tokens instead?
After raising enough funds in private and public rounds, we realised that the launchpad round was no longer necessary to achieve our ecosystem goals. This led to the idea of burning unused tokens instead of continuing the round.
We discussed this proposal with our community during a live discussion on Telegram, presenting three options:
conducting an external launchpad round,
burning the unused tokens,
organising an additional public round on the ZND platform.
The community overwhelmingly supported the burn option, citing its long-term benefits for ZND token holders. We then conducted a survey to confirm this decision. The results proved clear.
What do the token parts mean for ZND?
There are a number of benefits that go behind taking such a step. These include:
Burning will reduce the maximum supply of tokens by 0.80% from 700 000 000 to ZND 694 400 000.
The current circulating supply of ZND 48 087 698 will be reduced to ZND 42 487 698 after burning.
The burnout will reduce the market capitalisation of ZND by 11.6%, bringing it down to 12.7 million.
This directly reduces token dilution, benefiting all remaining ZND holders.
What is the next step in the burning process?
The burning process will take place soon and we will make an official announcement with details of the blockchain transaction. Transparency is at the core of our ecosystem, and our community will be the first to know when the burning is complete.
This monumental event reflects our commitment to building value for ZND holders, fostering trust and creating a robust, sustainable token economy.
