Terra 2.0 (LUNA) Token Will Soon Be Listed on Zonda

We are proud to announce the listing of Terra 2.0 (LUNA) on the Zonda exchange. 

With overwhelming support from the community, the Terra ecosystem chose to create Terra 2.0 and continue the legacy of LUNA on a new, improved, and fully community-owned network. The old chain will continue as Luna Classic ($LUNC).

Deposits and withdrawals of LUNA will be available from 05.09.2022 at 12:30pm (CET) and trading will start on 06.09.2022 at 11:30am (CET)

Terra 2.0 (LUNA) Airdrop

Zonda will support the new Terra 2.0 (LUNA) token and the airdrop based on the conditions described by the Terra project.

The project has created a distribution schedule to provide new LUNA tokens to users who held old LUNA tokens before and immediately after the network incident on 9 May 2022.

• All customers will receive 10% of their tokens in the first batch 
• The first batch will be provided before the launch of LUNA markets
• Subsequent tokens will be distributed later as Terra makes them available

 

PLEASE NOTE: Zonda has no influence over the distribution schedule and is at the mercy of the provision of tokens by the project owner. The entire distribution could cover a period of up to four years, however, the actual timeline will be unique for each individual user.

 

Airdrop Technical Calculations

New Terra 2.0 (LUNA) tokens will be distributed by Zonda to holders of old tokens via an airdrop based on the following release schedule:

 

• We will calculate how much each user should receive based on how many tokens were held before and after the attack of the original Terra blockchain.

 

• This is based on a pre-event snapshot at block 7544910 (2022-05-07 16:59:37 CET) and a post-event snapshot at block 7790000 (2022-05-26 18:38:08 CET).

 

• The initial airdrop will account for 10% of the total amount of tokens each user will receive.

 

• Further increments of LUNA will be calculated and distributed as and when the Terra project releases additional tokens.

 

 

Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan

To manage the distribution of LUNA tokens, the Terra project has developed the Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan. It uses the following two snapshots of the state of accounts:

• the state before the attack at block 7544910 (balance_pre) 
• the state after the attack at block 7790000 (balance_post)

Each account should receive new tokens in the amount according to this formula:

balance_pre * 1.034735071 + balance_post * 0.000015307927

The project will distribute the new tokens in batches, some tokens were released with the launch of LUNA 2.0, but most are currently locked by the project and will be released over a 4 year period. The formula above shows how many total tokens an account will receive on the new network.

 

How Zonda will distribute tokens

1. For each customer, we will calculate how many total tokens they should receive.
2. Since the project will be releasing tokens in batches, we currently do not have the ability to give out all the tokens at once. We can only distribute more tokens as batches are released by the project. For this reason, we cannot provide our exact schedule but will keep users informed as more batches are released.
3. Following the listing on the exchange, we will distribute the first batch, equivalent to 10% of the total that the customer should get.
4. Subsequent batches will be announced separately but we are currently unable to provide exact dates that Terra will release them.
5. The last batch will be calculated as an adjustment to the total amount for a given customer.

 

Below is the basic data needed to calculate the tokens to be distributed:

• date_pre - date of the block created before the attack: 2022-05-07 16:59:37 CET
• date_post - date of the block created after the attack: 2022-05-26 18:38:08 CET
• balance_pre - account balance as of the date_pre moment
• Balance_post - account balance as of the date_post moment
• ratio_pre - ratio used for the balance_pre value, defined by Terra: 1.034735071
• ratio_post - ratio used for the balance_post value, defined by Terra 0.000015307927
• luna2_balance_sum - how much LUNA 2.0 the customer should receive in total
• luna2_balance_n - number of tokens we will give out in the nth package (not the last)
• luna2_balance_last - the number of tokens we give out in the last package
• ROUND_DOWN_6 - function that rounds the value down to 6 places
