Decentraland (MANA)
Decentraland è un software progettato per incoraggiare una rete globale di utenti a gestire un mondo virtuale condiviso con strumenti e supporto forniti dalla comunità.
Gli utenti di Decentraland possono comprare e vendere immobili virtuali mentre esplorano, interagiscono e giocano in questo mondo programmato dagli sviluppatori. Nel corso del tempo, la piattaforma si è evoluta per implementare applicazioni interattive, pagamenti e comunicazione tra gli utenti.
Le operazioni in Decentraland sono gestite da due diversi tipi di token:
LAND - token non scambiabile (tipo NFT) usato per determinare la proprietà di appezzamenti di terreno che rappresentano beni immobili digitali. MANA - criptovaluta che facilita gli acquisti di LAND, così come di beni e servizi virtuali utilizzati in Decentraland.
Le modifiche al software di Decentraland sono implementate attraverso una serie di contatti intelligenti basati su Ethereum blockchain, che permettono ai partecipanti che detengono MANA di votare su possibili aggiornamenti, aste di terreni e sovvenzioni per nuovi investimenti.
