We are proud to announce that Zonda has received an official license from the ‘Organismo Agenti e Mediatori’ (OAM) to operate as a virtual asset service provider in Italy.
The registration of Zonda as an entity in Italy is an important step for the company as it continues its expansion throughout Europe and the World. Compliance with all local and international regulations is something that Zonda views as critically important to maintaining consumer safety in the cryptocurrency industry. With the OAM license, we are able to offer our services to Italian customers in the safest and most compliant manner possible.
Zonda is already the leading crypto exchange in Central and Eastern Europe and the license from the Italian OAM strengthens our expansion efforts into Western Europe. It’s a further affirmation of our commitment to meeting global compliance requirements and operating as one of the safest and most well-regulated exchanges in the world.
Regulatory approval will always be at the forefront of our efforts as the business continues to grow, and we hope to enjoy several more similar approvals on our global journey. The license is just one more in a list of regulatory achievements for Zonda, most recently the grant of a Canadian license earlier this year.
