We would like to inform you that the cryptocurrency fundraising organised by zondacrypto among our community for flood victims' zondacrypto - Funds for Flood Victims', whose beneficiary is the Polish Red Cross, has come to an end. Once again, the zondacrypto community did a great job! We want to thank everyone who supported this initiative. See below how much we raised in our charity collection and the final amount we donated to the Polish Red Cross support campaign.

 

Fundraising results 

On the 1st of October, we completed our fundraising for the flood victims. Every member of our community was able to contribute via the zondacrypto 2.0 app.

- Many community members asked us about the possibility of supporting the flood victims, especially as quite a few people come from the affected areas or have family there. For this reason, we have decided to provide our users with a platform through which to donate funds in cryptocurrencies to worthy charitable causes, and together, we have raised an amount of almost PLN 16 000, which we are now transferring to the official account of the #NaRatunekPowódź campaign run by the Polish Red Cross. We are adding another PLN 100 000 from ourselves. Our community did a great job – and I am very grateful for that. Together, we can do much more than alone. The funds raised could be deposited by donors in cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, XRP, TRX, SOL, USDT, USDC, ADA, LTC and DOT. The total sum of your donations amounted to the equivalent of EUR 3 839, which, converted into PLN, gave PLN 15 868.50. 

As part of the initiative's organisation, zondacrypto pledged to supplement the value of the contributions collected from users. Initially, we were supposed to double them, but we decided to do more. The final amount raised during the collection was increased by PLN 100,000 (EUR 23,261.22) by us and finally amounted to PLN 115,868.50 (EUR 26,952.43) – and exactly this amount was transferred to the account of the Polish Red Cross, in accordance with the guidelines of the #NaRatunekPowódź action, indicated on the website of the organisation: https://pck.pl/naratunekpowodz/.
