Summary of TMPL Awards for Polish Olympians. We support our champions!

The Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026 are now behind us. These past weeks flew by in a blur, and now it’s time to reflect on the incredible support we’ve provided to Polish athletes in collaboration with the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOl). At zondacrypto, we believe that sports are more than just moments of triumph, they are a continuous journey filled with hard work, training, and personal sacrifices. That’s why we are so proud to announce the comprehensive breakdown of the support we’ve offered to our outstanding athletes.

From the start, we’ve been cheering for the Polish team, and now, it's time to recognize their hard work, determination, and remarkable results that have given us so many reasons to celebrate. This marks a historic moment where elite sports meet innovative blockchain technology and the TMPL token. Read on to find out exactly how the TMPL rewards were awarded to our Olympians who finished in the top eight!
 

Medalists,Podium Worth Every Token

Our athletes have proven themselves to be among the world’s best, securing a total of four valuable medals. As part of the rewards provided in collaboration with PKOl, the largest portion of TMPL tokens went to those athletes who stood on the podium!

The standout performer of these Games is Kacper Tomasiak, who earned three medals in ski jumping (two silver and one bronze). As a result, Kacper will receive an incredible reward of PLN 550,000 in TMPL tokens!

Paweł Wąsek also made history, winning silver in the ski jumping team event, and will be awarded PLN 200,000 in TMPL tokens. Meanwhile, in speed skating, Władimir Semirunnij impressed with a second-place finish in the 10,000-meter race, which earned him PLN 200,000 in TMPL tokens.

Athletes Just Outside the Podium, Rewards for Places 4-8!

Success at the Olympics is not just about medals. It’s also about the heroic battle for fractions of seconds and centimeters, often ending just off the podium. According to the rewards regulations, zondacrypto also rewards athletes who finish from fourth to eighth place. These are often the toughest spots, where a tenth of a second can make all the difference.


Here’s how the rewards for our elite athletes who placed between 4th and 8th look:

  • Damian Żurek (Speed Skating) - Two 4th places: PLN 100,000 in TMPL

  • Kaja Ziomek-Nogal (Speed Skating) - 6th place: PLN 30,000 in TMPL

  • Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel (Alpine Skiing) - 7th place: PLN 20,000 in TMPL

  • Aleksandra Król-Walas (Snowboarding) - 7th place: PLN 20,000 in TMPL

  • Nikola Domowicz and Dominika Piwkowska (Luge) - 6th and 8th place: PLN 16,666.67 each in TMPL

  • Marek Kania (Speed Skating) - 8th place: PLN 10,000 in TMPL

  • Eliza Rucka-Michałek (Cross-Country Skiing) - 8th place: PLN 10,000 in TMPL

  • Felix Pigeon (Short Track) - 8th place: PLN 10,000 in TMPL
     

Additionally, our incredible relay teams and squads also received rewards. The biathletes: Anna Mąka, Kamila Żuk, Joanna Jakieła, and Natalia Sidorowicz, who placed 6th, will each receive PLN 7,500 in TMPL tokens. The luge relay team: Klaudia Domaradzka, Nikola Domowicz, Dominika Piwkowska, Wojciech Chmielewski, Michał Gancarczyk, and Mateusz Sochowicz, who placed 8th, will each be rewarded with PLN 1,666.67 in TMPL tokens.
 

Crypto or Fiat? The Choice Is Up to the Athletes

At zondacrypto, we believe in freedom and modern solutions. Just like in previous initiatives, our Olympians have full freedom of choice. In accordance with the rewards regulations from PKOl, the rewards for the XXV Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026 will be distributed soon, and each awarded athlete will have the option to choose whether to receive their support in traditional fiat currency or TMPL tokens.
