How to set up an Anti-Phishing code?

Anti-phishing code is a text identifier which you set up for yourself in order to distinguish the real zondacrypto emails and SMS from potential phishing attacks.

After you set up your own Anti-Phishing code we’ll include it in every automatic email and SMS sent to your account email address and phone number.

 

How to set up an Anti-Phishing code?

To advance your account security and set up an Anti-Phishing code follow the below steps:

  1. Enter your Account settings and go to the Security tab. Find a dedicated Advanced security section and click on a Set button next to an Anti-Phishing code

  2. Acknowledge the main features of Anti-Phishing code, how it works and continue the process clicking the Get started button.

  3. Provide a unique text identifier or number to be used to be sent to you by zondacrypto with every automatic email or SMS notification and click the Confirm button. Make sure to enter a value which meets all the listed requirements.

  4. Authorise the setup of an Anti-Phishing code with a standard Multi-factor authentication method: Passkey, SMS, Google Authenticator or email depending on your account settings.

  5. Success: provided by you Anti-Phishing code has been saved and will be automatically added to each email and SMS notification sent by zondacrypto. Your masked Anti-Phishing code is now visible in the Advanced security section.

How can I change my Anti-Phishing code?

  1. Enter your Account settings and go to the Security tab. Find a dedicated Advanced security section and click on a Change button next to an Anti-Phishing code

  2. Provide a new unique text identifier or number to be used as a new Anti-Phishing code and click the Confirm button. Make sure to enter a value which meets all the listed requirements.

  3. Authorise the change of the Anti-Phishing code with a standard Multi-factor authentication method: Passkey, SMS, Google Authenticator or email depending on your account settings.

  4. Success: your new Anti-Phishing code has been saved.

 

What if I don’t want to automatically receive the Anti-Phishing code anymore?

  1. Enter your Account settings and go to the Security tab. Find a dedicated Advanced security section and click on a green toggle next to an Anti-Phishing code to turn it off.

  2. Confirm your choice by clicking on Yes, turn off button in a displayed confirmation popup.

  3. Authorise the turn-off of the Anti-Phishing code with a standard Multi-factor authentication method: Passkey, SMS, Google Authenticator or email depending on your account settings.

  4. Success: Anti-Phishing code has been turned-off and you will stop receiving it in all of the automatic email and SMS notifications.
